Alexis Alexander

Alexis Alexander

The team's youngest racer, Alexis started racing on the dirt as a BMX racer. Upon tearing all the ligaments in her knee, she transitioned to the road, where she is a powerful all-round rider, excelling in criteriums, cyclocross races, and time trials. She's also the team's resident bike mechanic expert, working in the REI bike and ski repair shop in her spare time.

Sarah Beaver

Sarah Beaver

Sarah is new to racing but not to cycling, having completed many double-century rides and cycled across the country. She podiumed in her first three races as a Cat 4 -- a technical crit, a hilly circuit race, and a flat road race -- proving herself to be an up-and-coming all-rounder. When not riding her bike, Sarah is a designer at Apple, and is PABW Powered by TIBCO's webmaster!

Katie Crocker Behroozi

Katie Crocker Behroozi

Katie started bike racing as a competitive and athletic outlet when she was a business student at Stanford. Katie is an all-rounder, but she especially loves road races and time trials. Off the bike, she plays in an amateur string quartet and does national outreach for Raising A Reader, an early literacy program headquartered in Menlo Park.

Brianne Burgess

Brianne Burgess

Brianne "Bri" Burgess began racing in 2004 and quickly got the hang of it, upgrading to Category 3 by the summer and winning several races. Bri is a talented all-round rider with a fast sprint and strong climbing ability that should make her a strong contender in hilly road races and criteriums alike. Off the bike, she is a physical therapist, which means that she is often seen consulting for her teammates for their various aches and pains.

Holly Harris

Holly Harris

Holly is the development team's most experienced racer. A strong mountain biker and lover of hills, Holly thrives in adverse conditions, when her competitors are suffering. On PABW Powered by TIBCO, she is known as the consummate team player, always willing to sacrifice to help a teammate win. When not cycling, she teaches biology labs at SFSU and she is an expert in native plant and invertebrate ecology.

Victoria Vallstrom

Victoria Vallstrom

PABW Powered by TIBCO's newest racer, Victoria quickly distinguished herself as a phenomenal climber, beating established pros in the Mt. Tam hillclimb from the open women's category in 2005. Victoria's training regimen includes 3-hour commute from her home in San Francisco to her job as a QA Manager at VMWare in Palo Alto. Victoria is a native of Sweden.

Elizabeth Wistrom

Elizabeth Wistrom

Elizabeth started cycling as a triathlete, racing at Worlds in 2001 and 2003. She first removed her aerobars and tried collegiate racing as an engineering grad student at UC Berkeley. Elizabeth excels in hard, hilly road races like Copperopolis and is excited about completing an NRC stage race in 2006. A self-described "enginerd," Elizabeth works for a medical device company in Redwood City.
